When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

I have been asked many times , what are the "safe" areas in Orlando?

Here are some resources to utilize when exploring neighborhood options in Orlando and surrrounding areas.

To check out my profile, references and the references of the other agents, just click on my picture to go to my profiles and read what our clients say about us. Pick the broker that you think is right for you. Of course I hope it’s me, but if not then best wishes!

I would also recommend doing further online research before you move any further and by contacting the Orange County Police department. I've provided a link below to a website that offers specific crime information for the address of the home that your inquiring about. If the link doesn't work, just plug in the address at

I hope that you find this answer honest and helpful. If you need any further assistance with finding a home here in Central Florida, I'd be glad to help!

You should contact the local police dept. to determine how the crime is in a specific area.
Another thing you should do is drive around the area at different hours.
Also, if there is a specific house you are looking at, a Realtor can send you a Neighborhood Report which gives a vast amount of information on the area.
