Ep,
We have slowed in recent months. Having said that, we are in much better shape than most areas of the US. Most buyers are from the San Antonio, Austin and Houston markets. Properties that can be placed in vacation rental continue to do reasonably well. Village Walk http://www.villagewalkporta.com is a great example. As always, price is king. I'd be happy to discuss the market conditions in greater detail. Keith

Good afternoon Ep,

I am not a local Realtor in Port A and I'm not quite sure if there are any on this site either, but I figured I would at least try to help answer your question as best as I could. We do also have a branch office in Corpus, so I can send the question their way and see what more I can get for you.

There currently is alot of new development already going on in Port A. I've spoken to a couple locals down there in August and some are happy, but most are a bit concerned as they don't want to have their "small-town" feel go away. If anything, growth will really put a strain on transportation there as the line for the ferry's are usually 2 hour waits in the summer time just because of tourists. The biggest singe family housing developments going down right now are that I know about are Cinnamon Shores and Tortuga Dunes. Here is a link to other developments currently going on in Port A. http://corpuschristi-portaransas.alicedonahue.com/NewConstru…

Hope that helps a bit, but if you need more info; don't hesitate to let me know.

Respectfully yours,

Josh
