The market in good in Midland. Inventory is up from the same time last year. There are a lot of first time buyers in the market because of very low interest rates and the 1st time Buyer Tax Credit. Lower oil and natural gas prices have tempered the boom that has been going for the last 4-5 years. There are plenty of homes to look at, so buyers are happy. Prices have softened for homes that need updates. Homes in 1st class condition are selling quickly and their prices are stable.
