Talk with a local property management company for stats and information on rentals. You can also look on Craigslist to see what others are offerring and at what price.

Be careful when looking for a rental on Craiglist as there are many scams on there, where people claim to be the owner of a rental, collect deposit and rent who don't own it. I have heard many good things from a company here in Tucson called Apartment Locators, they help potential renters find the right rental for them, at no extra charge to the renter. Good luck and be careful.

It depends on the amount of other rental listings on the market at the time you are trying to rent. It could be only 7-10 days or 45-60 days, depending on the listing s to rented ratio.
You can go to http://www.Insiderealestate.com to find out how many are for rent in your area.

The rental market in Old Town right now is pretty hot, but as always, it depends on the property, the exact location (i.e., quadrant) and the condition. If you would like to email me specifics, I would be happy to email you a range.

Hi

The rental market in Old Town and inside the beltway is generally pretty good. It depends on location, the condition of the property and how much you want per month will determine how long it takes for the rental to move. If you have specific questions, please feel to be in touch.

Thanks

You are probably looking at about $2500 /mo in rent and should be able to get it rented within a couple of weeks. The rental market is pretty strong in Old Town and most things go within a week, but it will depend on exactly where you are and what condition the property is in.
