Are you asking for construction and lot costs, or just the building itself? What kind of house are you looking for - cheapest possible, or tile, wood, etc?

It depends on the builder and the location - let me know some details and I can give a better answer!

Michelle,

If you were asked how much it would cost to buy a new car.....your response would be difficult to pin down. A very basic low end model might be able to be obtained for $13,000 to $15,000 while on the extreme end, one could be purchased for $150,000.

If you were to talk with a builder the range might be from $100 per square foot to $350 per square foot.
Location, lot size, type of construction, upgrades, square footage etc. etc. etc. are all variables that need to be considered as well.
