In order to determine a fair offer review comps with your agent, recently sold similar properties in the immediate area, see what the data suggests and go from there....

Hello Ingrid,

You should consider working with an Agent of your choice when considering making an offer on a property. The Listing Agent works for the Seller, and not in your best interests. Buying a home is one of the most important financial decisions an individual can make in ones lifetime, as well as one of the largest purchases, and making an offer depends on statistics, and not just guessing, and throwing numbers out there.

You should ask people that you know if they know a great full-time agent. Then, you should inquire about Buyer Brokerage, if you are looking for full representation, just as a seller has full representation with their listing agent. Buyer Brokerage usually does not cost a buyer a dime, since the Seller typically pays all brokerage fees. You get the representation, without the expense.

I hope this answered your question! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me by the ways below.

You offer what you think it is worth. We cannot offer any advice on what price to offer on any home. It is worth what you- as a buyer feels it is worth.

Hello Ingrid the best way to determine a fair price for a home purchase is to find an agent you can work with, hire the agent as a buyers agent so she/he can walk you thru the process. A buyers agent will help you find a home and when it comes time to negotiate a fair price present you with com-parables so you can make an informed decision when submitting an offer to a home owner

Remember buying a home is a huge undertaking and choosing to work with the right agent can make all the difference in the world. Choose an agent who will work hard on your behalf.

Good Luck
