How many homes are being built as of today?
How many days average are homes on the market?
WOW, that is a ton of information. I see some who have answered and my data is different than theirs so, as a real estate Broker and Valley resident for over 20 years....I have to ask: Why?
San Jacinto is going to see some exciting growth over the next few years. With approval of the San Jacinto levy extension, commitments from Lowes, Home Depot and the new Gateway Center, San Jacinto is poised to be one of south west Riverside Counties premier communities. There are areas within San Jacinto that will need to see major rehabilitation in order for those areas to benefit which is why statistical data may have little value to the average home buyer or investor. WHERE is the most important factor in choosing San Jacinto as a place to buy real estate. Location, location, location could not have more value than in the Valley.
If you are going to make any real estate investment decision based primarily on statistical data....invest in mutual funds instead. The statistical data for mutual funds is more consistent and reliable than home sale data which has too many variables.
I personal live in San Jacinto. Love the area. It is growing faster then most areas. Lots of new homes being built every second. KB got a new place called the Cove and it's going to be very nice. Large homes. They are expanding all the roads and bring in new shopping centers. Target, Regal Theaters and Stater Bros are all being built up. Its a good area for first time home buyers and investors. Rent is around $1600-$2200. New home are around $300,000 to $500,000. $500,000 gets you a very large house, 3000+ sq.ft.
It's a safe area comparied to many other places and depending on where you work it's a nice drive. I work in Corona and spend about 2 hours a day on the road (back roads all the way from the 15 freeway). That should change in the next coming months due to the new four lane Ramona Express way being built now. There are also new schools being built in the next year.
You Should come and vist the area. Happy Searching
Hello Tim,
All listings in a search that I ran just in the IMRMLS which is the MLS that a local agent would use returns 1385 active listings for the San Jacinto/Hemet area for single family residences. I found 401 homes have sold from 1/1/07-6/25/07. Any other questions that you may have, feel free to contact me.
San Jacinto: 459 active listings, 100 sold in last 6 months, days on market ranges from 1-500 with avergae being less than 120. Pricing ranges from 125k-800k, with a couple over 2 mil. New home counts are difficuolt to obtain without going to the county or hitting each builder individually. San Jacinto is still a growing area. If you want more detailed specifics, you do need to provide a finer detail of home type and specs to search for. The ranges provided are very general and cover just about everything in single family residential.
To better answer your question please give me a price range and bedroom count that you are looking for.
