I would agree with Cindy, it most assuredly depends on price, #1. However, other factors also play into consideration, like schools, is the house coming on the market in November or March? I find that houses rent faster and more easily west of Hwy 211 than do east of 211. Where is your house located?

I would disagree with Dudley about renting in Winder as hard as selling. We just rented on that wasn't even vacant yet! We had less than 10 days down time between tenants. The rental market is going to be very strong over the next 3-5 years. With the Bio-arch coming in as well as being strategically located between Athens and Atlanta, it is a very good market. Angelia

Dear Mr. Gregory: As with most real esate questions about time-frames, it depends on the asking rental price. I will be happy to tell you my experiences with rentals in Winder.

K. Gregory,

Last time I checked Winder is not the best rental market. It would probably take you just as long to sell it as it would rent it.

Why not try to lease purchase the home? This is a good option for people who want to buy a home but cannot get a mortgage.
