How is the home market in Clear Lake( SE Houston) in Bay Oaks, Bay Forest and Pinebrook? b
which subdivision gives the best value ( resale and present value )?Since $400-$450K gives only the older , smaller home in Bay Oaks, is it worth to buy there in that range? Is it better to wait for spring for more choice/better value? Bay Forest gives best location for high /elementary schools but has older , relatively smaller homes. Pinebrook has the most inventory and affordable homes. Confused!!
Since your questions has several parts so will my answer have severl parts. First of all you have to ask your self where do you really want to live and that will answer what is the "best value" for your family. Bay Oaks is a customer home community with a lot of green space because of the Bay Oak Country Club Golf Course. Pine Brook may give you some bigger homes for that price range, but no customer homes. Bay Oaks and Pine Brook children both go to the same school with the exception of the elementary school that services that community. Values of properties are great right now and low interests rates. Right now both Bay Oaks, Pine Brook and Bay Forest are good investments.
