FIRST ANSWER
Our area gone through significant contraction in the local economy with the sharp downturn in the oil and gas industry. Our sales went fairly flat through the winter but picked up again in May and have been active ever since. Values have pulled back 2-3%, rates are low and several buyers are in the market place trying to take advantage of the Tax Rebate and low interest rates.
