How do I find sale history information for Westchester, County NY?

Nick

NYC has the ACRIS system which provides online access to sale history, legal filings, etc. for all real estate within the city. I am looking for a similar online resource for Westchester, NY.

Nick,

Having come from NYC, ACRIS is great. In Westchester, each town and village has their own separate records. Nothing is centralized.

In working with clients, we are able to search tax and property histories. You can do the same. It is quite cumbersome. Some towns such as Greenburgh have access online for you to get some of the information you are looking for. Sometimes the data is several months behind current market trends. However, to do it right you should know streets or properties you are interested in researching.

I strongly suggest you find a realtor who will serve your specific needs. If you have any more questions, I would be pleased to assist you with no obligation.

Calling a local agent can get you started. We at least have the histories of all MLS listed, solds and expireds at our fingertips . If you are trying to track market conditions we can help you. They show what the market rejected in terms of sales price. Expired listings are also a good source of information. I utilize expireds as much as solds to get a feel for the market. I noticed you are in 10603 which covers White Plains and parts of Greenburgh.
