You will be minutes via car to shopping from this location. Google Maps can help you find the type of grocery store, coffee shop or shopping you are interested in.

Shopping is about 10-15 minutes in either direction, north or south. A new Vons grocery store is being built at Blue Diamond and Buffalo. Grocery stores are mostly about 10 minutes away. The are small businesses around the neighborhood on or close to Blue Diamond.

Las Vegas and Henderson neighborhoods are often close to retail and shopping - this is the norm. It's highly unusual to have to drive more than 15 minutes to get anything you need - grocery, big box stores, restauratns, etc. The only really inconvenient place to live, though it's beautiful, is Lake Las Vegas. I highly recommend that you use Google maps to see the retail in areas in which you're looking.

I also have a community section on my website. You can input a zip code and see retail, school info, and more.

There are many shops nearby including national merchants and eateries. The closest, largest center is The Arroyo which includes Walmart, Ross, Home Depot etc. See the link for full merchant listing http://thearroyo.com/retail/market_square.asp .

There is shopping centers off of Warm Springs and Durango which feature Buffalo Wild Wings, Vons, Starbucks and more.

If you have any additional questions, let me know.
