How can I assess the renatl value of my investment property in Denton. It is a 4 2 1 with a spare room and no

garage. Renovated in 2007 and 2 miles from Women's University.

You could also do the reverse. Many of my investors look at about 10x rent for value. So if your rent is $1200/month, then home might be worth $120,000 or less. This doesn't always hold true and can depend on age, condition, renters etc, but is a quick method.

FIRST ANSWER

Home many square feet is the home? You can look on MLS, news paper etc for other rental properties in the same area. I use the average square foot, and multiply by your footage.
Example: 2000 square feet X .65 cents = $1300 per month.
