How are the $375,000 homes in the Salem area selling? Are there many people looking at this type of property?

Yes there are many properties in that price range. Some excellent choices are available for viewing!

The properties that are "priced right" are selling, no doubt about that, regardless of price range. Buyers are well educated and keenly aware of the fair market value of properties. If a property is even slightly overpriced, oftentimes, a buyer will not make an offer and will take a wait-and-see what happens attitude. My motto is that a property needs to be perfectly priced, presented and marketed not to mention that the seller and agent need to have positive energy and karma on a good outcome. Yes! Homes are selling every day in Salem. Buyers want the best house for the best price, so condition of the home is primary -- having no deferred maintanance. Good Egov

Right now on the MLS we have 14 homes that are active (on the market now), all 3 - 4 bedrooms in the price range of $350,000 - $400,000.

4 homes either on pending or contingent status ranging from $369,000 - $489,900. And 4 homes have closed since January of this year ranging from $352,900 - $370,000.

Our market in NH has been very strong. We did not see the winter slowdown but an increase in sales. There are buyers buying in the upper segments of our market. The amount of homes on the market is down with sales being up which is a plus for sellers
