Hi, How’s the market for building lots in Bethany? It seems like many of the lots (west of Rt. 1) have been on the market for a long time.

True. Many of the Lots in Bethany Beach West of Rt 1 have been on the market for a while. As a Builder I do see potential for Lot/Home packages that can be completed with equity based on the Bank's final appraisal.

There are still some great values in buying individual home sites right now, but the market is picking considerably from your post in July. Many home buyers are choosing to build as many area home builders are now willing to work with on independently owned sites outside if the typical sub-division. And many home site sellers are partnering up with home builders as the marketing traffic is much higher for residential listings (over 3x the views) than for lot listings on the MLS. If you find something you like pull the trigger and negotiate your best deal. The market is shifting to favor sellers...

Hi,

Thank you for posting your questions. There are five availalbe lots East of route 1 as of the this monring. Also, there are some well pirced homes that are smaller and could be removed to build another home.
