Generally prices have declined; you can check http://www.mlsli.com for available and closed properties; or work with an agent who can provide any necessary and specific information.

I have lived in Harborfields school district for 29 years and raised 4 children here. I can tell you that prices have fluctuated since 2009, initially declining slightly and more recently increasing. There are also areas within the district that maintain their value, regardless of market statistics. The award winning school district , strong sense of community, proximity to beaches, museums and nearby Villages, consistently attract Buyers. I serve all of Long Island, but specialize in the towns on north shore of Long Island and would be delighted to hear from you.

2009 152 homes sold, ave days on market 84, median sold price $526,250, % off listing price 4.55

2010 139 homes sold, ave days on market 71, median sold price $$480,000, % off listing price 4.5

2011 143 homes sold, ave days on market 90, median sold price $477,500, % off listing price 4.1

Generally speaking the price of homes have declined since 2009, some areas in Harborfield more than others, which is typical of most areas of Long Island. Long Island has been a stronger than average market as compared to other areas of the country that have seen more devastating price drops.
I cannot avoid being self serving to point out that the specific details of your query should be addressed to a Realtor. The internet can assist you with general information. My single most important function is to be pinpoint accurate with my numbers. Buyers and sellers depend on my expert opinion when making a decision on the biggest most significant asset they will invest in.
