Beavercreek is one of the areas where the housing market has not suffered as other areas. The reason is because of Wright Patt. and military families moving in and out. Prices in the Dayton area have fallen 9% during 2008 but Beavercreek has not suffered the same decline. The market in the Dayton area has fallen 20% in number of units sold. Many people are waiting to put their home on the market anticipating prices to rise eventually, so there is actually a need for homes to come on the market in Beavercreek.
