I think home prices in Byram are still very good. Here is a recap of the past 7 months

Active Listings - Average - 418,744
New Listings - Average - 424,681
Under Contract- Average - 363,654
Sold Listings- Average - 351,953

Inventory has steadily risen in Byram since the beginning of the year.

Jan - #97
May - #114
June - #122
July - #123

Sold Property Data

January 2007: 4 Sales with a median sales price of $320,000
May 2007: 13 Sales with a median sales price of $312,000
June 2007: 8 Sales with a median sales price of $310,000
July 2007: 6 Sales with a median sales price of $323,000

Please note that fewer sales in July can skew the median price as a result of 1 higher priced home sale.
