Buyers in Shaker have definetly started to come around. We just listed a home on Huntington and have had 8 showings on it in under 10 days. Relo buyers for the Clinc, UH, and Case have started to come out in full force. They will even more in March, when the next round of residents start at the clinic and UH.

Yes this area seems to be doing fairly well in spite of the soft market. In Shaker Heights from the beginning of this year 383 homes are now on the market, down from over 550. 80 were sold and have closed, 27 are in a contingent status awaiting final approval to go into pending and 69 are in pending which means they are sold and waiting to file. From those numbers you can see that at the beginning of the year there were over 550 homes on the market for sale and now there are only 393. Homes are moving. As for relocation, I am still bringing clients in, but not at a record high as has been in the past. If you need additional information, please visit my website.
