I feel that now (or in the near future) may be a good time to purchase a home in the U area because as of today (Oct 11), there are 27 active listings in that area. Prices have moderated substantially and the current high inventory of unsold homes gives the buyer a great deal of leverage. Additionally, interest rates are still favorable.
