I was raised in Framingham and have seen Saxonville go through many transitions. I have listed and sold in this area,( in fact ,am posting a new condo for sale there this week )- and find that the area attracts buyers who can appreciate the historic qualities of Saxonville and have a preference for older homes with lots of character but also want modern conveniences and easy access to commuting routes. Hard to say what a particular property would sell for without seeing it, but the size and condition of the property would determine the right listing price, along with the type of lot, available parking and of course, condo fees and whats included in that fee. The area now has its own "flavor" and identity which has been made more well known due to "The Friends of Saxonville" and the marketing of the old carpet mill as potential studios to artists and small business owners. A one bedroom condo in a converted victorian on Central St. recently sold for just under 145K, and there is a lovely condo property with two bedrooms and a small yard, currently on the market for under 180K.
