I am researching the value of my home the year it was first appraised in comparrison to it's current true value. 5210 Woodmeadow Drive, Garland, Texas, 75043

OK. Zip codes are not usually used for comparison purposes, but here are the numbers for 75043
Dec 2002-Jan 2003: 80 total sold Sold price range: $74,700 to $290,000
Dec 2008-Jan 2009: 71 total sold Sold price range: $45,500 to $385,000

Please email me directly if you want more specifics, such as the sales in the La Prada 04 subdivision for 2200 sq. ft. with 3 bed and 2 baths.

Thanks, but that only gives me the current value as of this date, not the value at or near Jan 1st 2009. I want to compare the sales prices of properties in 75043 around Jan 1st of this year to Jan 1st of the first year of sales prices of properties in 75043 around Jan 1, 2003. A current appraisal or the DCAD information will not provide that archival information. I'll compare that information with that of my own property.

I'm not sure how much detail I want to put online but the rather specific type of information I'm seeking will serve a specific goal.

I'm still looking for a resource for home sales prices for Dec 2002, Jan 2003, Dec 2008 and Jan 2009 for zip code 75043. I'm not looking for listed prices, I'm looking for actual sales in 75043. If Trulia has an archive of "Recently Sold Homes" for those months then that would be close enough for my needs.

I'm thinking that information might be in the county office. I'll call Monday to find out.

You can review the history of the county's assessed value of your property at: http://www.dallascad.org/SearchAddr.aspx
The current market value can be determined by a Comparative Market Analysis prepared by a local Realtor or an appraisal done by a licensed appraiser.
