Hi Sha,

You'll need a good, local buyer's agent to represent you and present this questions on your behalf. The home may in fact be overpriced to start with and your offer reasonable.

Hi Shakhawat, it's difficult to say a price is to high without seeing the house and knowing more about pricing in the area. Why don't you make an appointment with a buyer's agent to see the house and they can work for you and give you their honest opinion of the price and be paid by the seller. Then you would have a professional opinion to back up yours if you wanted to make an offer.

The agent may not necessarily see your message, therefore you could try contacting him directly; keep in mind that agents don't decide price reductions, sellers do; you should also consider working with an agent of your own and review comps, recently sold similar properties in the immediate area, then determine what price would be a fair offer...
