I have been to several in this area...but the best one I'd have to say is the all-day short sales workshop - - all the others dont give you the in-depth step-by-step like this one does. I have closed 4 short sales since the last class in November...They also provide you with an extensive workbook full of examples! Short Sales are much easier now! My broker is going to go to the next one as I dont have the time to answer everyone's questions from my office and our broker has never closed more than a couple short sales! Anyone who says they know short sales...dont really know anything until they go through the proper training. So if you are serious, then definitely consider taking this class. I dont mind referring it to fellow realtors as there are going to be way too many short sales and will be more than ebough to go around. WE just need to get the right knowledge and not be afraid to learn from the best. Good luck....let me know what you think of it!

Arizona Academy of Real Estate http://( has a Short Sale Survival Guide class that is excellent. It covers everything an agent needs to know and has a forms packet to help agents through the process.

If you're truly interested in being a saavy real estate investor, I would suggest being versed in several areas of investing. While the market now is a great time for short sales, what happens when the market booms again ( and it will). Short sales will practically be obsolete. If you're interested in receiving a comprehensive education on real estate investing, including short sales, I can give you more information about events going on in your area. Email me your information if you're interested.
