According to the MLS as of 03/16/2013, the unit is still showing available in the MLS, the washer and dryer are included, and the condo association dues are $292 a month plus there is an additional $50 association fee due per month. I can look more into exactly what those fees cover if you determine you have a further interest. The MLS comments also state that there is an option to purchase furniture that is currently in the unit.
Regarding sinkhole activity in the area, I am quite sure that there have been ground settlement issues in the surrounding New Port Richey areas, but I would not be able to tell you exactly where. My recommendation is to plan on doing further investigation on sinkhole activity during the agreed upon inspection period at which time you find a home that you feel would be a strong possibility for you.
Talking to people who live in a community is an excellent source of information to begin further research. Another place to check if there has been previous ground settlement activity is online at central permitting of the county the home is located in where you can check and see if there has been any past repairs which may be evidence of an issue (not only ground settlement issues). To search Pasco County Florida Public Access to Permit Applications go to http://secure.pascocountyfl.net/bccpapa/Opal/QuickPermitSear and then type in the address you are interested in. You can usually tell if there has been a permit pulled that would indicate a repair for past ground settlement issues. Another great source of information is on the Florida Department of Environmental Protection at the following link http://www.dep.state.fl.us/geology/feedback/faq.htm .
Unfortunately, ground settlement issues also surface in locations that may not have previously been a concern.
