Because of the rapid market decline there is not much new construction going on in Kingman now as there was a few years ago.. Currently the cost to build is significantly higher than the cost to buy. Many homes that were built in the last two years are sitting vacant as they have never sold. Builders are finally reducing the prices of these homes and you could find a great buy on a never lived in home. Look at the Ranch at Long Mountain, Hualapai Shadows and Vista Bella. Best of luck

Currently there are several new homes on our MLS that were built in this year alone. Some builders do not list their new homes on the system and choose to sell them through model homes and open houses.

Hi, Julia ... there are several developments underway. Maybe in New Orleans where Ian is you need to go to city hall to find out what's going on. All I did was Google "new homes in Kingman" and there were a few different developments that came up.

You need to goto the local courthouse, and also the building department...you can see how many permits were issued for new homes, and also if there are any new developments / subdivisions getting ready to break ground.

This will give you a good foundation from which to build your knowledge of the area, and help you make a better decision that fits your short and long term goals.
