Hey, just about anything that Dominion Homes got involved with has had foreclosures. They make a great product with value, and have for many years, but their financing arm got out of control....Genoa Farms is NICE and has a great location near the Polaris area. The pond at the entrance is lovely.....I think it is fine for a long term investment.....
Good luck, feel free to contact me if you are interested in this subdivision, or others in Westerville.

You got the stats, but ask anybody who lives there, they love it. The worst has pretty much shaken itself out. I think It is now a great value there for the age & size of homes in Westerville Schools. Homebuyers were only a small number of the forclosures, there were speculators in there who after the first renters left, they quit paying. For the value and the greenspace, I think it is a great place and the stygma is wearing off
In past year, approx.; 2 are for sale,1 in contingency, 8 sold,5 withdrawn; of the SOLDS, some rough stats: 85%, 82%, 86%, 87%, 88%; sell price vs highest price in past 3 years. More detail at bush.214@osu.edu
Yes, I see this too often in neighborhoods where Dominion has built. The next paragraph was taken directly from the Columbus Dispatch.
A homeowner said their houses are overpriced because purchase and financing incentives were wrapped into the cost. "The effect of the scheme employed by Dominion Homes is to sell homes. . . . worth far less than the amount financed and less than the amount of the appraisal," says the lawsuit, filed in Franklin County Common Pleas Court by attorney Edwin Hollern.
However, I need to add that no fraud was found this year and Dominion homes won the lawsuit.
