"Road widening to alleviate traffic along FM 2978
Two separate mobility projects will result in the widening of FM 2978 and Honea Egypt Road over the next year. The FM 2978 project will be taken on by the Texas Department of Transportation, while Montgomery County has partnered with the Westwood Improvement District to take on Honea Egypt Road.
The Montgomery County project involves widening the portion of Honea Egypt Road from FM 1488 north to Sendera Ranch Drive. The two-lane road will be widened to five lanes.
This home is over 5000 sq ft and has many very nice features. One of the ways we determine value is to look at the average price per sq ft from the recently sold homes in the area. The homes in the area are over $100 per sq ft. When the 10 acres and other upgrades are factored in, this home is priced well. I agree with the other comments about the tax assessed value. I did check the current tax assessed value and it is $523,000. The current owners have a homestead and over 65 exemption.
