i co-signed for my dad on a non-FHA loan 2 years ago. i have never lived there, do i qualify for the first time credit if i want to buy a home now?
Consult a tax professional to be sure but I'd say it all depends on if you are on the deed or not. If you are you most likely will not get the tax credit.
