Yeah, its Kew Gardens, barely. You get a nice view of a graveyard, and you'll love staring at the courthouses across the street. The heart of Kew Gardens, where the LIRR train station is, is about a 5-10 minute walk away, and all the stores that are near this co-op close early, as most of their business revolves around courthouse hours. Sure, the E and F train are nearby, but that is about the only benefit. Further down in Kew Gardens, near the LIRR, is much nicer, leafier, and more village like. Plus the LIRR runs all day, and a bunch of busses go to the Kew Gardens E and F stop.
For the same or less price, I would recommend that area. This co-op that you are looking at has nothing nearby of any interest, except one old 'Redbird' subway train from the 7 line, and really, how many times can you walk through it?... more
