Local police will be your only choice!
You haven't mentioned where the house is. Even if you did, realtors really can't answer that question. You can contact the local police department and get statistics for the area you are asking about.

Often the best resource for answers on neighborhood safety is the local police department or county sheriff's department. They have access to the most current and accurate information and are generally very willing to be helpful.
