Ashland Oregon's elevation is 1951 feet. Land area is 6.50 square miles. Ashland is a wonderful town of culture, education, art, music, year round outdoor and indoor activities and a truly great community atmosphere. In 20 minutes drive up the hill to Mt. Ashland and enjoy skiing and winter sports. Home of the world famous Oregon Shakespeare Festival which runs nine months out of the year sporting three theaters. Ashland's business base is the festival, the Southern Oregon University, and Ashland Community Hospital plus a large service and tourism industry. Nestled in the hills, it is a small town with big city culture.
A fabulous 80 acre Lithia park graces Ashland and allows for enjoyment for both tourists and locals. Ashland's great restaurants and wine bars give foodies something to die for. Good schools and a plus is the association with the festival. 541-621-1996 Phyllis Leilani Halstead, Broker - Gateway Real Estate on the Plaza in Ashland.
