The Clark County sheriff's office has a crime statistics map (link provided below). I too have lived in areas where I didn't even have to lock my door... but as with any city or county, it is neighborhood specific (which is evident on the map). My house was burglarized twice in the east Vancouver area about 10 years ago. Since then, there is a newer police station in that area, so it's gotten better there.

Some other websites you can check for additional info are: (sex offender search) (Vancouver Police Department)

Violent crimes are rare, and most citizens are in complete shock when one happens. The majority are petty crimes like theft, possession of drugs, vandalism, etc. Overall, and in comparison to other areas, I think it's a pretty safe place to live.

I have always lived here in Clark County. I have never been robbed, or been involved or a victim of any crime here in Vancouver. In fact alot of us here don't even lock our doors. I have always felt safe here and I suppose every town has it's crimes and misfortunes, however this area at least has been very good to me and my family.
If you want real statistics I can get links to you for that. I wouldn't live anywhere else.
Portland does tend to have a bit of a problem though. Just depends on the area.

You can find some Vancouver statistics like this on my website: Click on About Vancouver. It should give you the stats you are seeking. If you are thinking about moving here you can use my site to help you familarize yourself with our beautiful area here.
Good luck with your searching and contact me if you have any further questions. Lifetime native here.

Since Hazel Dell is in unincorporated Clark County, the best place for you to check is
with the Clark County sheriff's office. They will be happy to answer your question, or
to direct you to the most current source.

Mr B. Singh....good afternoon... There are places to search for crime statistics and I do have some links available.

The truth is, most crime is committed within and towards one own group. Whether social, economic, or other demographic, most crime it against someone they know. Random acts of violence are generally much more rare.

I would go so far as to Vancouver, you are more likely to experience a random act of kindness, than a random act of violence. While not careless by any means, I absolutely do not live in fear of theft or violence....and might even forget to lock my car in the grocery parking lot.

contact me via my profile information, or and I will address your more particular concerns, with appropriate resources of information

The crime rate's always too high.

However, did you have a specific location in mind?
