Sales in the last 6 months for 43620 have been between $4750 (you read that right!) and $156,000. Big difference there. There are currently homes for sale in the price range of $3500 to $315,000. There are a number of pending sales between $8500 and $242,777. That area is a hard one to define, as you can see. The Olde West End is included, so that skews the area as a whole, as does the vacant and abused homes. Check to see what Trulia says, too. In Ohio, a zip code does not give you the specific info you need to make a decision. Whether you are thinking about buying or selling, a Realtor can provide the specific info you need & want. You don't have to retain a Realtor to ask for infomation & obtain the info you need & want. But, you may like the Realtor you use to provide the info & decide to retain him/her when you are ready to move forward. If not, then, when you are ready to move forward, you can interview several Realtors before you make a decision.

That's a good question, and one that I would need a little more information on. House values have definitely declined over the past couple of years, but some neighborhoods have been affected more or less than others. Even within 43620 that is the case. If you could give me your actual address or your neighborhood/subdivision, I can give you a better idea of where your home's value is at.
