The roads are typically plowed/sanded/salted within a reasonable amount of time. A lot depends on how bad a storm is and of course the Main Roads are usually plowed first.

Town provides excellent snow removal!

Today we have over two feet of snow. Stay warm! Most of the time we're plowed pretty quickly.

yes, but depending on where in Ridge and how bad the storm is, it makes a difference in how quickly they are plowed and sanded. (lived in Ridge for 27 years)

Through the combined efforts of town, county, and state governments who budget for snow removal, the roads on Long Island are plowed, sanded &/or salted so that they are available for use on a timely basis.
