Good morning, MdIsaac:
Trulia:has good stats http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/Pawtuckett-Charlotte/30020
so does CMPD. You can also drive the area at various times of the day and night and talk to people you see on the street or call police non-emergency (311 in Charlotte) and ask for the officer who patrols the specific area. If you appreciate an answer, please give thumbs up. For the most helpful answer, please say thanks with a best answer click.

Midisaac,

You have a couple of options when it comes to the crime rate in an area. One is to look at it through Trulia. There information is pretty up to date and accurate. The one that I recommend is http://www.cmpd.org. Once you go on the website you can click on the For Your Safety along the top and there is a link to crime mapping. Put in the address and it will give you the stats you are most likely looking for.

That is the most up to date site and I found the best site for that type of information.

The data provided by Trulia in most cases is very accurate. I would look closely because it is very easy to get bad data introduced. There are differing opinions on every subject. For Example, do you follow the DOW index vs the NASDAQ index on the health of the finicial market. It is always best to caveat the data by quoting the source. Comments?
