Hi Greg, as a professional, seasoned and smart Realtor I give my buyers a market analysis report before we draw up a purchase offer. It shows similar properties that have closed in the last three months within a one mile radius. It allows my buyers to make smart decisions when want to make an offer on a property. Please contact me 773-624-2100.

Greg, give me a call at my office. I'm an agent and I would like to work with you. Give me a call at the office and we can discuss some prices of real estate in the area. My number is 773 624 2041.

Hi Greg,
You need to have a consultation with a Realtor. It's free. Plus, if you decide to work with a Realtor there's no additional cost to you. A good agent should be able to show you an area's sales activity, market time, etc. You can do some number crunching yourself on Realtor.com, Trulia, Zillow, etc.
Pick someone from that's responded to your questions and give them a call.
Good luck!

Paying to much for what? Costs for selling or buying? Please clarify your question so we can help :)

If you are referring to commission on the sale of your home. Contact realtors in your area and ask about
their services and commission.

Which costs in particular are you referring to?

The best way to find out is to ask a few agents and compare which costs you are concerned about.

Hi Greg, interesting statement, I am waiting for the day when someone says "why am I paying so little"?
if you sign up on my website at http://earlruthman.listingbook.com you can actually search the sold properties in your neighborhood. This differs from most websites in that listingbook allows the public to look at active properties, but also empowers you to search the solds. If you need me to enterpret the data after you do your search I am a phone call or email away. Hope the site is helpful!

Greg,

I strongly recommend that you work with a Realtor. As a buyer, there is not cost for this service to you.

Good luck.
