Are you asking how are taxes in zip code 15221? If you are, 15221 encompasses the Borough of Wilkinsburg (2012 millage is 14.00), the Borough of Forest Hills (2012 millage is 8.35), and part of the Borough of Churchill (2012 millage is 5.75). So the tax base is different in each borough. It also includes Wilkinsburg School District (2012-13 millage is 36.672) and Woodland Hills School District (2012-13 millage is 26.21). All of these area's are in Allegheny County (2012 millage is 5.69). A property owner would pay the county, local and school taxes based on the property assessed value (from the county) and the millage for each taxing body. There are discounts available (2% early paying, homestead exemption, senior, new home construction tax abatement, etc.).

I hope this answers your question.
