Jill, I was just searching for properties on the beach in the Fairhope area yesterday for a client and found several. Of course the top range was over $2 million, but there were several under $300,000! As you know, property values have come down a good bit over the past 4 or 5 years making beachfront property affordable.

If I can help you in searching for property in this area, please let me know. My email is, or you may call me at 251-454-0902.

Hi, there are many areas. Wherever you look there are deals but the first thing you need to do is shop for a great broker in the area you like then your broker will know your specific needs and goals to best help you. There is no cost to you for this service at rue properties as a buyer.
Cheers, Beau

Hi Jill, I am here in Fairhope, and if you are asking about communities in Fairhope near or on the beach, then most of downtown is near the beach, which is actually Mobile Bay. The "Fruit and Nut" section, with street names after fruit and nuts, the Bluff neighborhood are both near the beachfront.
Then you travel south to Gulf Shore and Orange Beach, and you are gulf front.
Hope this helps,

I am on the beach but here in North Carolina. Living 150 ft from the ocean has many pros and cons. What exactly is your question?
