There are a tons of short sales in this area.. Some of these condos need lots of work. If the city were in 4 quadrants the SE is the most affordable. Both of these condos look to be short sales as well. When purchasing a short sale you have to be patient..We have a few under contract for 6 months now and still no answer from the banks as to weather they are going to sell it to us or not..Banks have no timetable. But some great buys out there and interset rates are LOW ...hovering around 5% it is a great time to invest..Pls ck out our website to be sent lists of all foreclosed or short sale homes..

Hi Lynn, thanks for your question regarding the condo on Firefly Circle. I am not sure what you are referring to because there are two condos for sale right now, one for $37,398 and one for $40,000. One is under contract and it is listed at $39,900. This is southeast and the mountains are on the West side. Depending on the unit and where the windows are will determine the mountain view. Colorado Springs has biking & hiking paths throughout the city and the Santa Fe Trail goes from Fountain all the way North through Monument (North of Colorado Springs). There are association dues of $135/month here. The MLS states the association fee Includes: Common Utilities, Covenant Enforcement, Exterior Maintenance, Lawn, Management, Snow Removal and Trash Removal.
