There are other factors besides credit that determine mortgage qualification, therefore do visit with any loan officer; for an FHA loan and decent rate, 640. In the meantime, do dispute any negatives, pay all bills on time, pay down debt, keep credit cards below 50%, etc.

Anna is right, 620-640 FICO score seems to be about the minimum to get a decent rate without paying up front costs for a mortgage. Clik on the link below and you can get a nice description from a local mortgage broker about what credit scores mean.

Amanda,
At our company we don't have a minimum credit score requirement, we will finance any credit! Take a look at our homes on http://www.roselandco.com. We even report your payments so that will definitely raise your credit score if you were to get a mortgage through us! Call us at 866-937-3557 for more information.
