Each of the beaches has a different "feel" with terrain, residences/rentals, proximity to activities and the historic downtown area, ability to drive on, ride horses on, etc. Anastasia Island is where themore famous beaches are with miles and miles of smooth sand. There are different developments/areas on Anastasia Island - Davis Shores, the "Magic Triangle" with the Alphabet streets and numbered streets, gated communities such as Sea Colony, Marsh Creek, Ocean Palms, Seagate; ungated communities such as Sea Place, Commodores Club, SeaGrove, and many condo units. The farther south you go on Anastasia Island, the more tapered the Island gets making for views of both the Intercoastal and Atlantic Ocean from some properties. It is also "quieter" farther south as well as up north in Vilano Beach. You can map search for homes on the website below or search for particular neighborhoods. It's a bigger question than one would think because so much of St. Augustine is about the beach and the neighborhoods vary so greatly with price range, home owner restrictions, architecture, etc. Hope this is helpful.
For a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime, St. Augustine Awaits You!
