Lots of inventory there...My other half and Iare looking into getting an inexpensive condo in Incline for a skiing/summertime crash pad. we don't need anything fancy, but don't necessarily want a place with paper thin walls or sketchy neighbors...what do you think?
Hello Eboct
My first question would be, what is your definition of "inexpensive"? Important to know before directing you to what your are looking for. There are some great deals right now in town ranging from $155,000 to $500,000 If you would like to have that information sent to you, email me at MizzEdee@charter.net and I will be happy to provide you with the information you need to find your vacation "crash pad".
Greeting from beautiful Lake Tahoe!
I just want to follow up with you regarding your desire to purchase in Incline Village. As you know, with the current buyers market, we are seeing an increase in buyers such as yourself being able to purchase homes they only dreamed of owning.
While the unit you inquired about is in escrow, there are a variety of condo's available in different locations, conditions, and price points. Currently, there are 8 condo's in escrow, 7 of those are under $500,000. Additionally, this year, of the 12 condo sales, 11 have been under $500,000.
Currently, there are 6 condo's on the market that I believe with good negotiations, you could purchase for less than $200,000. This, of course, does not include opportunities available in the Short Sale/Foreclosure market.
Would it be of value for you to receive further information on the best opportunities right now that match your criteria? If so, please contact me at your earliest convenience, and I'll get to work so you can start enjoying your Lake Tahoe investment property.

Hello and congratulations on your decision to own a slice of Lake Tahoe. This is an excellent time for buyers to purchase properties they only dreamed of owning.
Thank you for your question. Did you see our listing in Southwood Pines? The Southwood area is a lower elevation, centrally located in Incline Village. It has a denser population of condominiums that other areas of Incline Village, but close to amenities and below highway 28. Southwood Pines is a good development, tucked in the pine trees. Because there are multiple short sales/foreclosure opportunities in this complex, there currently is a $2,000 homeowners association assessment. There are quite a few options in Incline Village right now to pick up a 2nd home and I would be happy to introduce you to properties that match your criteria and provide a good education on the market and where the Best Buy opportunities are for investors such as yourself. Would this be of value to you? If so, I will get started right away.
Thank you again and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Sincerely,
Sandi Solomonson
