I live in Hwy25 6 miles north of Kettle Falls. Winter is beautiful.......moderate snow which is usually dry and powdery. I seldom actually wear a coat though there are a few times when we'll get an Arctic low drop down but only a few short days and seldom. Those days are usually extremely beautiful and loaded with photo ops if low fog forms in the morning the fog freezes on everything and then goes away leaving a fantasy land of white with sapphire blue skies and water. This area REALLY is a treasured secret you must discover for yourself. Four seasons you could almost set your watch by. Beautiful every day of the year and loaded with wildlife and outdoor rec opportunities.
