Hi Dena,

I recently moved from Bath down to Portland, but the city offers a plethora of opportunities like Terry talks about below. I would also encourage you to investigate Brunswick, about 10 minutes away, as with Bowdoin College located here and being about twice the size of Portland, the combination of both is great!

Dena,
I live and work in Bath - - we have a vibrant arts community in Southern Mid-Coast Maine; Bath is home to the Patten Free Library which is the centerpiece of our beautiful Library Park featuring "The Spirit of the Sea" Fountain. The Chocolate Church Arts Center and The Maine Maritime Museum are important cultural centers in the city. There are many opportunities and events depending on your particular interests. You may want to check out The City of Bath Website for more information.
