What advice on SummerGrove for a 50 aged couple with no kids? Will we fit in or is just for raising kids kinda neighborhood? Is it doggie friendly?

I live in Summergrove and our section up on Westhill is GREAT for downsizing, retirees or new buyers. We have a lot of that mix up here. Many of us enjoy walking to Publix which is about 1/4 a mile away. There is a new park on Belltree Circle that is great for kids and grandkids and even a trail to Newnan Crossing. A few homes are for sale on Westhill and Belltree.

Hi, Deb.. I see you've already receive quite a few responses and my apologies for the delay in my response. I am a Realtor, I live in Summergrove and I've sold properties in Summergrove. It is a 2500 home community with internal neighborhoods that suite any type of lifestyle. We live in the Tapestry section, just minutes from one of the 3 pools but we have friends that live in the Cloister section, small yards, yard maintenance included in the HOA.. etc., We have a large dog and there are MANY people who walk near where we live. I would love to help you in your search.. be it here in Summergrove, or anywhere in Coweta County. Please let me know how I can help, or if I've missed the boat and you already have chose a buyers agent to represent you.. Thanks so much Jeanne

oops I realize I didn't actually answer the question LOL... Summergrove seems like a good mix of people downsizing and moving up. Since all price ranges are represented and almost every stage of life, I think it is a great place to be. Drive through there on the weekend and check it out :)

SummerGrove is a great neighborhood for people of all ages. There are some sections that posses qualities similar to a retirement community while other sections are set up for families. I have lived in the area most all my life and saw this property go from a hunting club to now around 2800 homes. Make sure that you have a full-time and full-service top-producing LOCAL Realtor working for you. If you are not already working with an agent, I would love to earn your business. My buyer services are FREE to home buyers. Please take advantage of my free access to the multiple listing services. No password or registration is required http://www.FREEGAMLS.com . The properties on this site are continually updated and show ALL GAMLS and FMLS listed properties (patented search site).

Hi Deb,

You need to go out in the community and answer those questions for yourself. Everyone has an opinion, but yours is the only one that matters...so next time you are in town go talk with the neighbors, drive the neighborhood, check out the places you feel you would frequent and see how it feels to you....
