Hi Doris, I can't verify whether a Hershey Park carousel was taken there but the history that I know is very long and deep. In the late 1800's there was an amusement park located on the site that the Carousel Pointe neighborhood was later built. I actually remember going there in the 1960's when it was still a functional amusement park. See the attached link to the history of the site. Glad you asked. I love it when I remember this "old" stuff.

Because the carousel that was in Hershey Park was moved there in 1972.
