Ccs, Home Buyer in Bass River, MA

This looks like a beautiful street and area, large wooded lots, minimal traffic, it is a dead end. You would never think you were in a large city.

How are the schools?

Help the community by answering this question:

We have three children, two of which are out of the school system. They both were accepted into desirable schools, Babson and Wheaton. Waltham has a strong arts program, as well as science, business and a good selection of sports and clubs. Eight of the schools have either been built new or completely gutted and rehabbed, all on state money ( back when they had some), so our taxes weren't affected.
One point. We have very low taxes, but some don't realize that we also have an owner occupied exemption, which can lower them by another $1,019.23 per year.

Best of luck in your home search!

This is the rankings provided by Boston Magazine for 2011. Overall, Waltham ranked 54th, directly below Watertown. However, the ratings are controversial.

The Lanes area does appear nice, but traffic can be a real snarl in the morning and afternoon, especially on Lexington Street.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your search.
