To the best of my knowledge, the only place to get the NYC commuter bus, both to downtown (Academy) and Midtown (NJ Transit) is along the Route 9 Corridor.

The closest stop to Lasatta Avenue, would probably be the stop called "Gordon's Corner Road". The actual stop is on Route 9, in front of Mixed Greens, across the street from Towne Pointe (Hunan Gourmet).

Spent many years commuting to NYC from this area. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you want to pick my brain on what commuting is like from this area.
