Hi Nancy, Some towns on Cape Cod are year round and others are more seasonal. Yarmouth has a little of both, depending on the area.
The most year round towns are Falmouth and Barnstable. Those two will be more along the lines of your descriptiion of where you live now.
I live in Falmouth. My wife and I help nice people find great homes.

Hi Nancy,
Is the home in Falmouth or West Yarmouth? Feel free to contact me and I can tell you more about either area.

In general, the Cape is a wonderful and very popular place to retire. We do have quite a few 'snow birds' here who leave for the coldest winter months, and the downtown areas do also slow down with that, but areas such as Falmouth stay pretty active.
